Once a Lutura is destroyed, all cards under it get destroyed as well. Advanced Gear Luturas keep their previous Gear(s) ability effect(s) if they used them before getting upgraded. If an Advanced Gear Lutura needs to go from the Battlefield to the Hand, Deck, or Portal by effect, all previous Gears go as well. When a Lutura leaves the Battlefield (to your Hand, Deck, Portal or Workshop), all of their effects reset.

LUTURAS NETWORK
RULES v1.0
I. Overview
Luturas Network is a hybrid tabletop, card, and dice game designed for 1–2 players.
Players deploy powerful digital creatures known as Luturas to battle one another in Versus Mode or confront corrupted entities called Oscumoras in Solo Mode.
The game blends strategy, probability, and tactical deck management, using two distinct decks — Tools and Strategies to secure victory.
II. Luturas Natures & Immunities
- AQUATIC — Cannot be Soaked
- NUCLEAR — Cannot be Nullified
- PLASMATIC — Cannot be Paralyzed
- FLAMMABLE — Cannot be Burned
- TERRESTRIAL — Cannot be Blurred
- BOTANICAL — Cannot be Injured
III. Game Modes
A. Versus Mode (2 Players)
Each player drafts three Luturas from a pool of eighteen available Luturas.
They battle one-on-one, using Tools and Strategies to outsmart their opponent. The first player to defeat all three of the opponent’s Luturas wins the match.
B. Solo Mode (1 Player)
In Solo Mode, the player faces eighteen Oscumoras, each with unique effects.
The goal is to defeat all Oscumoras using your chosen three Luturas. Oscumoras act automatically and possess special abilities never seen before.
IV. Components
Each Luturas Network box includes the following:
- 18 Lutura Cards (each with a reversible Hyper Mode back)
- 18 Oscumora Cards (for Solo Mode)
- 36 Tool Cards (attacks)
- 36 Strategy Cards (crystals and tactical effects)
- 1 Dual-Player Game Board (includes both player zones)
- 4 D6 Dice (used for accuracy, effects, and critical rolls)
- 8 D4 Dice (used for damage rolls)
- 35 Status Tokens or Effect Counters
V. Versus Mode – Setup
1. Draft Phase
- Each player begins the Draft Phase.
- From the pool of 18 Luturas, players take turns selecting one Lutura per turn until each player has 3 Luturas.
- Choose one as your Main Lutura and place it face up in the Main Slot.
- The remaining two Luturas are placed face up in the Backup Slots.
2. Decks
- Each player uses one Tool Deck – 36 cards (18 per player), randomly sorted.
- Each player uses one Strategy Deck – 36 cards (18 per player), randomly sorted.
3. Starting Hand
Draw three Tool Cards and three Strategy Cards for a total of six cards in your hand.
4. Board Layout
Each player’s side of the board includes the following zones:
- A) Lutura Slot (Active)
- B) Tool Slot (for attack cards)
- C) Strategy Slot (for crystals and tactics)
- D) Tool Deck Slot
- E) Strategy Deck Slot
- F) Backup Slots (two)
- G) Portal Slot (discard pile for used Tools and Strategies)
- H) Token Counters Slot (for Stamina, Gear and Force Field)
VI. Versus Mode – Phases
1. Draw Phase
Both players simultaneously draw:
- 1 Tool Card from the top of the Tool Deck.
- 1 Strategy Card from the top of the Strategy Deck.
If a player’s starting hand is unplayable, they must return all cards to their respective decks, shuffle, and draw a new hand.
2. Command Phase
- Both players simultaneously place 1 Tool Card (face down) and 1 Strategy Card (face down) in their respective slots.
- If a player’s selected card categories do not match their active Lutura, they must discard the mismatched Tool or Strategy Card to the Portal and get a new one from the Portal.
- However, the player must change the state of that Lutura to Defense Mode by rotating the card until it is horizontal.
- Luturas cannot be inflicted by negative status effects while in Defense Mode.
- The Lutura will go back to Attack position at the end of the Round.
3. Reveal Phase
- Both players reveal their Strategy Cards and immediately resolve any effects that activate.
- Leave the Strategy Cards face up on the board until the round ends.
- If the Strategy is a Crystal, make sure the Lutura is compatible (same icon).
- All Strategy Cards will go to the Portal once the round ends.
4. Battle Phase
- ✅ The Lutura with the highest Speed attacks first.
- ✅ Reveal the Tool Card of the attacking Lutura.
- ✅ Roll 2D6; if the result is equal to or higher than the required value, the attack hits, triggers its effect, or causes a Breakshield.
- ✅ Then, roll D4 dice equal to the Lutura’s Damage Stat.
- ✅ The highest value rolled among the D4s becomes the attack’s Damage.
- ✅ Add this to the Tool’s Power Value to calculate the Total Damage.
- ✅ The defending player must roll D4 dice equal to the Lutura’s Defense Stat.
- ✅ The highest value rolled becomes the Lutura’s Defense Value.
Example: If you roll 3 D4s and you get (2, 2, 4), the Defense Value will be 4.
Use the following formula to determine the result:
(Damage + Power) – Defense = Total Damage
5. End Phase
Move all used Tool and Strategy Cards to the Portal (discard area). Cards in the Portal cannot be used again.
The Draw Phase begins again in the next round.
VII. Lutura Modes
Base Mode
This Lutura has its normal abilities. It cures from any status conditions when it transforms to Hyper Mode.
Hyper Mode
This Lutura has special abilities such as being allowed to use any crystal.
In Versus Mode, you can transform once per battle unless a card effect states you can transform again.
In Solo Mode, you must use the Gear System.
Oscumora Mode
This Lutura has a Force Field that needs to be broken first in order to take damage from its Stamina stat. SOLO MODE ONLY for CPU.
Oscumoras are immune to any status effects.
VIII. Crystals & Strategy Effects
- RUBY – Ensures Breakshield activation even if the die fails.
- SAPPHIRE – Prevents Breakshield from being triggered against you.
- TOPAZ – Grants Speed priority regardless of Speed stat. Solo Mode: Attack twice.
- OPAL – Guarantees the attack hits regardless of dice results.
- AMETHYST – Guarantees Tool effects activation. Attack must hit. Solo Mode: Special token will go to MAX.
- EMERALD – Restores 4 Stamina to your Lutura. Cannot exceed MAX STAMINA.
- ALCAPURRIA – Reduces opponent’s Power by 2.
- COQUITO – Reduces opponent’s Stamina by 2.
- ASOPAO – Cures user of any Negative Status Effects.
- CUATRO – User can use any attack category this round.
- CAFE – Increases user’s Power by 2.
- CHANCLETA – Use any Strategy from your Portal.
- PAVA – User can activate Hyper Mode again if already used.
- MOFONGO – Opponent cannot use Tools/attack this round.
- MACHETE – Increases user’s Tool Power by 2.
- LIMBER – Increases user’s Defense Dice Stat by 2.
- VEJIGANTE – User will attack twice with the same Tool.
- PIÑA COLADA – User heals 2 Stamina this round.
IX. Negative Status Effects
Burned
The Lutura’s attack dice always use the lowest result from its D4 rolls instead of the highest. Same rules for Solo Mode.
Soaked
Defense dice always use the lowest result from its D4 rolls instead of the highest. Same rules for Solo Mode.
Paralyzed
Loses Speed priority regardless of Speed stat. Solo Mode: Oscumoras will always attack first.
Blurred
User must roll 1 D6 instead of 2 D6. Same rules for Solo Mode.
Nullified
Tool effects cannot be activated. Solo Mode: Special Token won’t go up. Removes Hyper Mode if active.
Injured
Stamina cannot be recovered. Same rules for Solo Mode.
When a Lutura receives a negative status, place a color-matching token on it,
unless the status color matches the Lutura’s own Nature; if it is already affected by a status,
the new one replaces the previous.
⛔ This Lutura received a Nullified Effect, but its Nature matches the Effect’s so it can’t be affected by it. Hence no Purple Token can be placed on it.
Additional Tips: Crystals bypass any Negative Status Effects. Transforming into Hyper Mode will cure you of any Status Effects. You could be able to get affected by negative status effects again if the opponent activates them with a Tool or Strategy.
X. Tool Categories
- ✅ Each Tool Card (attack) has its own category.
- ✅ Each Lutura can use only Tools that share at least one category it possesses.
- Example: if a Lutura’s categories are Claw, Wave, and Punch, it can only use Tools with those same labels.
PUNCH • WAVE • BEAM • FANG • CLAW • STORM
XI. Icons
Icons are used to represent key stats and effects on Luturas and Tools:
- ACTIVATE / DEACTIVATE
- STAMINA / HP
- ACCURACY
- DAMAGE DICE
- SPECIAL
- USER / OPPONENT
- DEFENSE DICE
- BREAKSHIELD
- SPEED
- TOOL POWER
- ALL CATEGORIES
- ALL NEGATIVE EFFECTS
- MAXIMUM HEAL / CURE
- MINUS / PLUS
XII. Stats Details
- ✅ Each Lutura has Stats: Stamina, Damage, Defense, Speed.
- ✅ Each Tool has Stats: Accuracy, Special, Breakshield, Tool Power.
STAMINA / HP – The amount of health a Lutura has. When it reaches 0, the Lutura is knocked out.
DAMAGE DICE – The number of damage dice the Lutura rolls when attacking. More dice = higher chance to deal extra damage.
DEFENSE DICE – The number of defense dice the Lutura rolls when defending. More dice = higher chance to take less damage.
SPEED – Determines turn order. Higher Speed means the Lutura acts earlier in the battle.
ACCURACY – How likely the Lutura is to hit its attack. The result of 2D6 dice needs to be equal or greater than the required value.
SPECIAL – How likely the Lutura is to activate its special effect. The result of 2D6 dice needs to be equal or greater than the required value.
BREAKSHIELD – If this value activates on the roll, the opponent cannot defend with their highest Defense dice. They must use their lowest Defense dice roll instead.
TOOL POWER – Represents the strength or effectiveness of a Tool card. Higher Tool Power means stronger impact or effect.
XIII. Solo Mode – Game Setup
1. Draft Phase
- The player begins the Draft Phase.
- From the pool of 18 Luturas, select three Luturas in total.
- Choose one as your Main Lutura and place it face up in the Main Slot.
- Place a green token to represent Stamina and a purple token to represent Special.
- The remaining two Luturas are placed face up in the Backup Slots.
2. Decks
- The player uses one Tool Deck – 36 cards.
- The player uses one Strategy Deck – 36 cards.
3. Starting Hand
Draw three Tool Cards and three Strategy Cards for a total of six cards in your hand.
4. CPU Setup
- Draw one random Oscumora Card from the Oscumora Deck and place it in the opponent’s Lutura Slot.
- Set up Stamina and Force Field tokens for the Oscumora.
XIV. Solo Mode – Phases
1. Draw Phase
The player draws:
- 1 Tool Card from the top of the Tool Deck.
- 1 Strategy Card from the top of the Strategy Deck.
If the starting hand is unplayable, the player must return all cards to their respective decks, shuffle, and draw a new hand.
2. Action Phase
- ✅ The player plays one Tool Card and one Strategy Card face up in their respective slots.
- ✅ Luturas always attack first against Oscumoras.
- ✅ If a card’s categories do not match the active Lutura, the player must discard the mismatched Tool or Strategy Card to the Portal and get a new one from the Portal, putting the Lutura in Defense Mode (use Versus Mode rules).
- ✅ Activate all Tool and Strategy effects, then resolve the attack using the same rules as in Versus Mode.
- ✅ Any damage dealt is first applied to the Oscumora’s Force Field (FF) stat, unless Breakshield is activated.
- ✅ Once the Force Field is reduced to 0, damage will begin reducing the Stamina stat on the next attack.
3. Oscumora Phase
- ✅ The player rolls 2D6 for the CPU to determine whether the Oscumora’s attack lands. Use the Oscumora’s Accuracy Stat for this.
- ✅ The Oscumora’s Power Stat represents its Total Damage value. If the attack hits, it will also inflict a negative status equal to the Oscumora’s Nature.
- ✅ The player must roll D4 dice according to their Lutura’s Defense Stat to attempt a defense.
- ✅ If an Oscumora rolls double on the 2D6, it immediately attacks again. Roll 2D6 again. This feature does not have a limit.
4. End Phase / Tips
- ✅ Once the Oscumoras have resolved their attacks, the player begins a new Draw Phase.
- ✅ If the player defeats an Oscumora, immediately place another Oscumora on the field. The player keeps the same Stamina and any Luturas already defeated remain defeated.
- ✅ The player wins by defeating all eighteen Oscumoras before all three Luturas are defeated.
- ✅ If either deck becomes empty, reshuffle it and continue using it.
- ✅ Hyper Mode can be activated once the Special Stat reaches 9. Hyper Mode will stay active even if a new Oscumora appears.
- ✅ The Special Stat won’t reset each battle. It goes back to 0 once the Lutura is defeated.
- ✅ The player gains 1 Special Point each time their Lutura hits or gets hit. Use the purple token to track this value.
XV. Solo Mode Token System
Green Tokens – Stamina (HP)
- Green tokens are the Stamina (HP) of any Lutura.
- Players use green tokens for their Lutura’s Stamina.
- Oscumoras also use green tokens for their own Stamina.
- If Stamina reaches 0, the Lutura is defeated.
Purple Tokens – Special (Player Only)
- Purple tokens are only for the player (Special Token).
- Every time your Lutura gets hit by an Oscumora, or you hit an Oscumora, your Special goes up by 1.
- When your Special reaches 9, your Lutura can transform into Hyper Mode.
- This Special Stat won’t reset each battle; it goes back to 0 only once the Lutura is defeated.
Black Token – Force Field (Oscumora Only)
- This works like a shield or body armor.
- When you hit an Oscumora, you first damage its Force Field (black token).
- When the Force Field reaches 0, the armor breaks, and now you can damage the Oscumora’s Stamina (green token).
- Residual damage is not applied to Stamina once the Force Field breaks; each attack either hits Force Field or Stamina, never both at once.
Breakshield Rule
- If you activate Breakshield, you skip the Force Field completely.
- The damage goes straight to Stamina.
- If Stamina hits 0, the Oscumora is defeated even if the Force Field was still active.
